Welcome, my name is Graeme. I am a trainee Homeopath. I have always worked in professions that help people and this is an exciting new venture for me.
Following a 20 year career in special education, I understand the challenges that people face dealing with the the ups and downs of life and have trained in a variety of ways that provide skills and opportunities to address issues and better understand how to work through these. My training began at the Jung Centre in Dublin, where I qualified with a Diploma in Jungian Theory and Practice and the Advanced Diploma in Jungian Studies. I also have a Diploma in Neuroscience-Linguistic Programming; Neuro-Hypnoanalysis and hold a Doctorate in Education.
I have delivered training across the UK, working with a range of private and public sector organisations.
I am currently training with CHE the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London www.chehomeopathy.com.
My Approach
I work in a person-centred manner and when we meet I will ‘take your case’. This is a phrase that means we will together look at that which is bothering and your reasons for exploring homeopathy. This consultation will involve us exploring your condition, feelings, emotions, and history to better understand the way forward.
How does it work?
Homeopathy operates on the principle of "like cures like," meaning substances that cause symptoms in a healthy person can be used to treat similar symptoms in a sick person.
Homeopathy is a complementary or alternative medicine. This means it's different from treatments that are part of conventional Western medicine in important ways.
Homeopathy is based on a series of ideas developed in the 1790s by a German doctor called Samuel Hahnemann.
Hahnemann’s thinking was based on the belief that a substance that causes certain symptoms can also help to remove those symptoms.
